Dr. Navid Rahmani is an internationally recognized implantologist and the oral surgeon. He is the editor for the Academy of Osseointegration, contributing to the dialogue on issues important to implant dentistry and the teacher at the New York Hospital, Dental and Oral Medicine Department of Prosthodontics. He joined the AO in 2014 and served on numerous committees before becoming the editor of the Academy News.

Dr. Navid Rahmani graduated from New York University and Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He is a John Oppie McCall Award winner for expertise in implantology and periodontics. He is known for achieving outstanding dental implantation results with conventional fixed and removable restorations, including complex cases requiring careful planning and the newest implant methods and technics.
